Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules governing the cancellation of and refund for educational services (“Services”) provided by von Becker Consulting LLC (“us”, “we”) to its customers (“you”), as described within vonbeckerconsulting.com (“the Website”, “our Website”). By using our services, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use our services.

Cancellations and changes

Initiated by you

Booked services can be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled service. Cancelling or rescheduling a service within 24 hours of the service will incur a $20 fee. A service cannot be cancelled or rescheduled after it has started.

To cancel or reschedule a booked service, please use the links provided in the confirmation email or contact your tutor directly.

Initiated by us

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule services. If this happens, we promise do our best to communicate with affected customers and minimize disruptions whenever possible.

Refunds

All payments for services are considered final and are non-refundable. This policy applies to all services, whether they are used, unused, scheduled, or part of a bundle.

Multi-Session Group Workshops & Cohorts

Cancellations and refunds

Initiated by you

  • 14+ Days Notice: Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the first weekly meeting of the workshop cohort will receive a full refund minus a 5% transaction processing fee.
  • 7 to 13 Days Notice: Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to the first weekly meeting of the workshop cohort will receive a 90% refund (minus a 10% fee).
  • 48 Hours to 6 Days Notice: Cancellations made between 48 hours and 6 days prior to the first weekly meeting of the workshop cohort will receive a 75% refund.
  • Less than 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before, but prior to the calendar day of the first weekly meeting, will receive a 50% refund.
  • On or After the First Meeting / No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for cancellations requested on or after the calendar day of the first weekly meeting, nor for any sessions missed after the cohort has commenced. No-shows forfeit the entire registration fee.

Initiated by us

In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule an individual workshop meeting, participants will be issued a pro-rated full refund for the specific meeting(s) missed, or offered an equivalent makeup session. If an entire workshop cohort must be canceled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will receive a 100% full refund of all fees paid.

Special considerations

We understand that emergencies and other extenuating circumstances can occur. If you believe your situation warrants an exception to our no-refund policy, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss the matter.

We review such requests on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to make a final determination at our sole discretion. Any exceptions granted may be in the form of a service credit or, in rare cases, a partial or full refund.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy on our Website. Your continued use of our services after the posting of the revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
