Our highly-effective tutoring sessions are offered in both online and in-person formats.
Online Tutoring
Facilitated via Zoom (with AI Companion), online tutoring is our most popular option. Learners will have same-day access to the tutor’s session notes and AI Companion meeting summaries. Full-length session recordings are available for an additional fee.

In-person tutoring is now available at Kristen’s office, located a very short walk from Clairemont Coffee in the Bay Park / South Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego. (The exact address will be provided after initial consultation.) Learners interested in meeting for sessions at Clairemont Coffee can also take advantage of this rate.

FAQs
How long will it take to see results?
It depends on more factors than you might guess, the most important being your definition of results. Regardless, most new clients start experiencing a notable increase in their mathematical confidence after only a few sessions.
Do you provide a guarantee?
While we are committed to providing high-quality instruction and many students see increased confidence quickly, results vary based on individual effort and external factors. Therefore, we do not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or academic outcomes.
Do (twice) weekly tutoring sessions roll over to the next billing cycle?
Subscription-based sessions expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. This ensures consistent progress and maintains your tutor’s availability.
Can I cancel or reschedule my tutoring session?
Absolutely. Managing your scheduled sessions can be done easily through Calendly, using the confirmation email you received after booking. And as long as you cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting, you won’t be charged. Last-minute cancelations or reschedules will incur a $20 schedule change fee. Can I get a refund for my unused tutoring sessions?
In general, no. But please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy for more details.
Are tutoring sessions transferrable?
Purchased tutoring sessions may be transferred between any registered learners in your household. We’re still working out the backend logistics for this process, so (in the meantime) please contact us if you’d like to transfer your sessions to another learner.
What are the technology requirements for online tutoring?
In short, the minimal requirements are a laptop or desktop computer that can support web conferencing, a speaker and microphone, and a reliable and strong broadband internet connection. See our Technology Requirements for details.
