Technology Requirements

This document outlines the minimum technical requirements (“Requirements”) necessary for customers (“Learners”) to participate in the online or virtual educational services (“Services”) offered by von Becker Consulting LLC (“Company”, “Us”, “We”). By using our Services, you affirm that you meet these Requirements. If you do not meet these Requirements, please do not use our Services.

Computing environment

Hardware

Full access and use of the following computer hardware components are required for use of our Services.

  1. Computer Hardware: Modern laptop or desktop computer with at least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB SSD
  2. Display: Full HD resolution (1920×1080) or higher; dual monitors are recommended
  3. Peripherals: Keyboard, mouse or trackpad, webcam, speakers and a microphone (headset with microphone recommended)

Learners are responsible for ensuring that the computer hardware and web conferencing equipment are in working condition and compatible with the technological platforms used by the Company.

Software

Installation and updates of the following software is required for optimal experience with our Services.

  1. Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS Catalina or later, or the latest stable version of Linux
  2. Web Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome (highly recommended), Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge
  3. Communication Tools: Zoom
  4. Security: An updated antivirus program and firewall

Learners are responsible for ensuring all software is regularly updated to the latest versions in order to maintain compatibility with our Services.

Internet connection

A strong and reliable broadband internet connection is essential for participation in our Services. A minimum speed of 25 Mbps, with Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection is required for reliable performance. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain an internet connection that can support video streaming, live discussions, and virtual screen shares without interruption.

General provisions

Failure to meet any of these Requirements may impact your ability to fully participate in our Services, and the we shall not be held liable for any resulting consequences. We reserve the right to verify compliance with the technical requirements outlined in this document at any time during the registration process or throughout the duration of the Services.

Changes to requirements

We reserve the right to update or modify these Requirements at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Requirements on our Website. Your continued use of our Services after the posting of the revised Requirements constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
